PlaywatchAward Winning Educational Digital Platform
In 2020, as the pandemic reshaped the world and my university began restructuring, I decided it was time to explore my full creative potential.
I reached out to a former student I had long encouraged to start a business, and together we launched Playwatch, an inclusive media company dedicated to creating early learning educational content. We started with a YouTube channel that quickly grew to over 200,000 subscribers, then expanded into books, workshops, and a network of talented creatives and celebrity partners. By 2024, Jason Learning, a leading educational nonprofit and tech organization, approached us to license our materials for broader classroom use. LINKS• Playwatchkids.com

Today, Playwatch content is used in hundreds of schools and reaches thousands of students and families nationwide. We’re currently
partnering with The Mind Trust and the Indiana Pacers to bring Playwatch programs to Indianapolis—realizing my goal of delivering accessible, high-quality educational media to my home state. In 2025, Playwatch was recognized as a finalist and winner of the Educators’ Pick for Best in STEM Award.
